Fundraise for us
Worcester Snoezelen is a specialist charity that supports people of all ages with disabilities and additional needs from across the West Midlands and beyond. Our highly subsidised fees being in 60% of the income needs to run our services, leaving 40% to be covered by grants, donations and fundraising. Whether you’re an individual, or part of a school or community group, you can help us raise money to support these essential sensory provisions for those who need them most.
Here are a couple of ways your fundraising can support us:
£100 – Create 3 Sensory Bags: kitted out with specialist sensory items to engage the senses, this donation would help us create 3 unique sensory bags for members to use in the sessions to heighten their sensory experience and promote relaxation.
£500 – Pay for a year’s supply of Chlorine Tablets for our Hydro Pool: Our ever-popular hydro pool sees 1,800 attended sessions each year for approximately 250 beneficiaries! Chlorine Tablets help us to keep the pool clean and ready for hydro session 7-days per week, 51 weeks a year.
£1,000 – 6 months of Baby Swim sessions for under-3s: Our Seal Pubs sessions run weekly for children under 3 help teach important water-based skills and improve mobility, fitness, circulation, coordination and parent-child bonds.
£5,000 – Support a WHOLE YEAR of Activity Wednesday venue hire costs: Our Activity Wednesday group for adults meets on a weekly basis for a whole day of different activities, allowing members to socialise with the friends, reducing social isolation and giving an outlet of expression through arts, music, dance and other movement-based practices.

Volunteer with us
We are always looking for committed enthusiastic volunteers to help us deliver Snoezelen services. There are many opportunities for volunteering at Snoezelen from getting involved with the day-to-day activities or assisting with maintenance such as gardening, painting and DIY. We are a flexible organisation that is happy to accommodate the interests and ideas of our volunteers.

How you can help:
Charity of the Year: Pledge to fundraise for us & involve all your staff, clients and suppliers to make it a special year of fundraising!
Team Building: Get a team together to do an event, challenge or volunteer for us – from volunteering to help us with DIY to running for us at the Worcester City Run! They are ideal for Team Building sessions and will save you the cost of an expensive away day!
Gifts in Kind: A donation of expertise, services and skills, such as design, building alteration work, print or IT support would save our valuable funds and help shape Worcester Snoezelen now and into the future. Worcester Snoezelen is also on Match My Project for specific In-Kind requests!
Donations: We are always very pleased to receive donations from businesses and there can be significant tax relief for the company in making a charitable donation.

Community Lottery & 100 Club
Take part in the Worcester Community Lottery! Operated by Worcester City Council, this weekly lottery draw supports good causes in Worcester at £1 per ticket with a maximum prize each week of £25,000. With Worcester Snoezelen nominated as the good cause, 50% of the sale price will go directly to supporting us. Another 10% goes to Worcester good causes generally, including Worcester Snoezelen. You don’t have to live in Worcester to buy lottery tickets! Visit Worcester Lottery & support us today!
Join our 100-Club for just £5 a month to be entered into a draw for the chance to win £100 each month! By joining, you will be helping us to continue to deliver and grow our multi-sensory services for people with learning disabilities from the West Midlands and beyond.

Leave a legacy
By leaving a legacy donation in your Will or to remember a loved one, you can help more people experience the joy and sensory happiness of Worcester Snoezelen.
Families often like to leave a gift in memory of a loved one as tribute to their life, and this is a touching way to help us continue our work. Gifts of any size given in memory help us provide multi-sensory leisure therapy in a welcoming and safe environment.
In Memorium gifts can be donated in a variety of ways, including from collections organised at funerals or memorial events, online tribute pages and challenge events in memory of a loved one.
You can set up tribute pages via websites such as MuchLoved and JustGiving to share special memories with family and friends near and far.
